Software Requirements Engineer responsible for capturing and documenting software user requirements (URDs) by interfacing with members of the project: marketing; systems engineering; service; manufacturing; methods development; software development.

Complete Description:

1. Capture and document software requirements documents (SRDs) by interfacing with members of the project: marketing; systems engineering; service; manufacturing; methods development; software development.

2. Interface with Software Development Team and Subject Matter Experts to design and document software specifications documents (SSDs).

3. Participate in software requirements and specification review meetings to improve the quality of deliverables and to ensure consistency. Determine completeness, accuracy, testability and interdependencies of related software requirements.

4. Review all Software Specific User Documentation for content accuracy.

5. Participate in Test Specification Review Meetings to ensure completeness and accuracy and to respond to Software Requirement Gaps.

6. Ensure that all activities are compliant with the applicable Requirements Management Multi-Site Work Instructions.

7. Follow corporate, PDP, ISO 9000 and project process guidelines for all activities.

8. Responsible for on time deliverables of all Software Requirement work products, including SRDs, issued SSDs (Software Specification Documents), traceability matrix, and software hazard analysis. Track activities according to Software Requirements schedule.
